Abstract Animals inspired by Paul Klee -4th grade

We read The Cat and the Bird by Geraldine Elschner, a whimsical  story inspired by Klee’s paiinting. Students used waterbased oil pastels to create their work. They used geometric shapes to interpret the animal of their choice.

Artome Art Show 5th Grade

We are busy working on paintings for the Artome Artshow!

5th graders study animals in their science curriculum and created Whimsical Creatures in the artroom using a circle for the head and adding the features of their favorite animal.

We were inspired by the art of Juliette Crane. http://www.juliettecrane.com/
